The Book Fair is open after school today and Monday in Room 1 (Miss Persaud’s old Red Room), and will be available to parents during Parents Evening to purchase books (the school receives valuable commission on sales to buy books for school at discounted prices).
School Meals: The new menu has been finalised after consultation with the School Council and will be sent home nearer the end of term. The cost of a school meal will increase in the Summer term to £2.20, therefore we need all outstanding balances and payments for the last week of term to be paid by Monday 3 April before the price increase. Remember, all meals should be paid for in advance, by Monday or the first working day of the week – we currently have £280.15 outstanding.
Extra-curricular activities : Science club has now finished, other clubs continue until w/c 27 March, apart from the Yoga club which will have a catch-up session on Thursday 6 April to make up for yesterday’s cancelled session.
We are working with Hook Norton Incredible Edible team to access some funding to develop the fruit and vegetable garden area. Children will be involved in the design of the new area. However, for this to be successful, we really need a gardening club to oversee the maintenance of the garden. If any adult would be interested in volunteering once a week to run an after-school Gardening Club please let Mrs Hope or Mrs Voce know.
FOHNS: Next week sees the start of the Auction of Promises with the on-line event launched on Monday 13 March at https://www.32auctions.com/FOHNSAuction2016, followed by the live Auction on Saturday 1 April – see separate flyer for details.
