The end to another busy week- this time battling the fog!
Our Football Friday initiative has been so popular that each class will have to take it in turns, beginning today with Year 3. Year 4 will be next Friday. Tom, as a qualified coach, has stated that any child taking part must have proper football/rugby boots and shin pads. Trainers are not permitted on safety grounds.
Dance Festival: Y1 attended the Chipping Norton Schools’ Partnership Dance Festival this week. They read ‘Commotion in the Ocean’ and created dances as sea creatures, led by Chipping Norton School’s Sports leaders from Year 10 and Year 12. This is one of an extensive timetable of events organised through the Chipping Norton Schools’ Sports Partnership, led by Jo Phillips and funded by our sports grant.

Mrs Belgrove’s Stars of the week:
A new initiative where I choose two children each week who I have noticed being stars. My very first stars are Scott Finlay for working so hard and so methodically in Science and Lily Stanton for her excellent reading and participation in the Year 3 class assembly.
Attendance: Well done to Year 6 for Full Attendance 3rd-7th March 2014.
Out of School Achievements: Well done to Amelie Tarbitt, Wade Gymnastics Blue Award
Have a lovely weekend. I shall be packing for Sweden!
