Dear Parents

Well done to the choir who went to ‘Young Voices’ at the LG Arena in Birmingham last night.  They joined 6000 children from other schools for an evening of song (and dance!).  I have seen the video evidence and can confirm that everyone had a brilliant time and sang their hearts out.

Our School Council and Eco Committee thoroughly impressed members of the RSPB who were taken on a guided tour of the school (even the stock cupboard!) by our councillors.  The RSPB were very interested in our eco-measures and were wowed by the enthusiasm of the children and their obvious pride in the school.

Maths Curriculum session for parents/carers will  take place on Tuesday 21 January, 3.30-5.30pm Come along and see how we teach Maths in all the year groups, the resources we use and how you can support your child with Maths at home.

If you are thinking about signing up for a Family Focus session at Chipping Norton School, get your skates on (brochure attached in ParentMail and available at the school office) as places will go very fast!  The family First Aid course is particularly recommended by past participants as a very worthwhile session.

Yours sincerely
