Dear Parents

Anti-bullying Week:  This week the children have been discussing bullying, every class has been designing posters and engaging in activities about bullying, Mrs Crouch led an anti-bullying assembly and Mrs Vint has been conducting surveys. Thank you for your responses to the parental survey.

The winners of the poster completion are: Euan Duxberry, Gracie Pearce, Isabella Nunneley, Imogen Hutchinson, Mia Green, Rosie Petre and Charlie Sampson. Their work will be displayed on the anti-bullying display board in the new KS2 corridor.

FOHNS: Thank you for your kind donations for the Christmas Fair.  Next week is also non-uniform day and children are invited to bring in bottles for the tombola.

Traffic Safety:  There has been a complaint that cars are driving up the wrong way on the Glebe to park up and leave vehicles.

Dog Mess:  The school has a supply of dog poo bags available from the office should you need some.

Primary School Application: Is your child 3 or 4 years old?

Primary school place – you must apply now. If your child was born on or between 1 September 2012 and 31 August 2013, you need to apply for a primary school place now.

You must still apply even if your child already attends our nursery.

REMINDERS:  Year 3 class assembly for parents/carers – Wednesday 23/11/16, 9.10am in the Hall

Flu Vaccine date Wednesday 23/11/16 1pm for Years 1, 2 and 3.

WELL DONE: This week we have said well done to All Year 1, Naomi Boddy, Thomas Hewitt-Gray, Emma Barnett, Oliver Wright, Lucas Bayliss, Paige Bowhill, Toby Luxton, Chloe Webb, Abigail Nunneley, Cecily Peacock, Harriet Tomalin.

Special Well Done to Emma Barnett, Ben Muller, Emily Monelle and Catherine Monelle for saying the Prayers at the Remembrance Service in church.

Governor Business: This week the Pay and Personnel committee met to consider teacher pay awards and review staffing.

ACTIVITIES:  This week we have been involved with anti-bullying, Mrs Macdonald has been on an Early Years course and all the Foundation Stage staff have attended a network meeting.
