Dear Parents

We are all very excited to be moving into the new classrooms and putting the school back in its place. Over half term the playground will be resurfaced and remarked with the netball court and games.

After half term all the children will be taking part in International Week, with lots of interesting and different activities taking place all week around the international theme.

All parents are warmly invited to see what we have been doing with an exhibition of children’s work in the hall from 2.30 until 3.45 on Friday 4 November.  Refreshments with an international twist will be served by FOHNS.

Staffing:  We say a fond farewell to Teash Prentice who has been one of our cleaners for 10 years. She has taken such pride in keeping our school spick and span – thank you Teash! She has decided it is time to hang up her mop and duster, although she will be continuing as our Crossing Patrol.

School Games: This week the Year 6 boys and girls teams took part in the CNPS Inter-school hockey tournament.  Both teams played exceptionally well with a high level of hockey played by all schools.  Our Sporting Champions were Cecily Peacock, Jasmin-Ebony Blake, Jayden Mobley and Jacob Benham.  Look out for our blogs on the School Games Website: https://www.yourschoolgames.com/

House Point Champions:  Y6 counted all the house points in the tubes and the children all waited in eager anticipation for the announcement of the first winner of the magnificent new House Point Trophy. The first House Point Champions are the Yellow Team with 804 points!  Well done yellows.  Each class will have the cup, tied with a yellow ribbon, for a week.
