FOHNS Family BBQ: Friday 10 July from 5.30pm – come along and enjoy a glass of Pimms and a burger/hot dog (vegetarians/gluten-free options available – please let the office know early next week). There will be lots of activities for the children and some great raffle prizes – don’t forget to send in your tickets (sold or unsold).

Thank you : For the £75 donation from the Birmingham Symphony Orchestra concert at St Peter’s Church where our choir and Windband performed. Thanks to the Williams family/village shop for their £500 donation for cooking equipment. Thank you to the FOHNS volunteers for organising and running children’s activities at M@C.

Book Amnesty: Thank you to everyone who has returned books; we still have dozens outstanding, so please have a good hunt over the weekend.

Virtual Athletics:  A recent inter-school competition for the Chipping Norton Partnership.

Children in KS2 take part in three activities – Long jump, ball throw and speed bounce – and the best results for each year group (boys and girls) are put forward.

This year we came second overall, with 8 speed bounce medals (none last year), 11 long jump medals and 4 tennis ball throw medals. Our fitness training has really paid off!

A particular well done to Zach Warner who set a new partnership Y6 long jump record. (He also holds the Y5 record!)

Well Done! : Each week, we celebrate particularly special achievements of children. This week we have said well done to:- Isobel Brearey, Molly White, All Y2, Toby Luxton, Will Cooper, Jayden Mobley, All Y4, Oscar Simmonds, Eleanor Bailey, All Y6, Ben Driver.

Activities/Visits: The new Foundation Stage children visited this week. Today was Open Afternoon where children proudly showed off their work to parents.

Out of School Achievements: Swimming: Mya Scobbie Grade 2, Freya White Stage 2,Molly White Stage 2.Maizey Jack 1st in the Under 9s Pony Club one day event.
