This week I joined Y6 on their visit to Junior Citizens at Oxford Fire Station. This is an invaluable course in helping children to keep safe in a variety of scenarios, including water, fire, personal safety, cyber bullying, road and rail safety and emergency first aid. The trainers commented on how well the children conducted themselves and they were a credit to the school.
Children enjoyed a Chinese meal for lunch to celebrate Chinese New Year.
Governors met to discuss the school budget, which is on track and there was a curriculum committee meeting to look at aspects of being a Church school and Maths monitoring.
