This month FOHNS are encouraging donations every Friday in return for wearing non-school clothes. Today was bottle day – thank you very much for all your donations – there were some very inventive ‘bottles’!
World Diabetes Day Friday November 14th
This year we are supporting World Diabetes Day, which happens to fall on the same day as Children in Need, which was suggested by one of our children who has Type 1 diabetes. The world theme is to wear a onesie for Type 1 diabetes, so we are inviting children to wear a onesie and bring a donation which will go towards Junior Diabetes Research. There will be cakes on sale after school. If you don’t have a onesie you can wear blue instead (that’s me!).
Parents’ Evenings: Monday 10th (3.30-6.00pm) and Thursday 13thNovember (5.00-7.30pm)
The playground will be open for additional parking out of school hours.

JAM Club – last JAM club session will be on Wednesday 26 November due to the Christmas Fayre and Christmas productions.
Children will be bringing home the individual/family group photographs and Christmas packs for cards individually designed by each child in school. Any separated parents who do not receive a pack of photos or cards should e-mail the office on email@example.com who will e-mail details. School photographs – please follow instructions in the pack and return any orders, with payment (cheques payable to ‘TSPC Ltd’), to school in the envelope provided by Monday 17 November. Christmas Cards – the children’s artwork has been transformed into their own personalised card
in your pack you will find a personalised sample card and order form, with matching unique card number – please don’t muddle up the cards and order forms, as it can lead to misprints at the order stage. If the printers have misspelt a child’s name, please accept their apologies and write the correct spelling in the corrections box on the order form. REMEMBER that the sample cards are for the children to keep, we don’t need them back. All orders need to be returned to school with payment (cheques payable to OCC) by Tuesday 11 November (sorry for the short notice but they need to ensure your purchases are returned to you as soon as possible).
