Please be aware that the next few weeks are our assessment weeks across the school when children will be taking various tests. The most important of these are the Year 6 Sats which are the statutory tests that all children across the country will be taking next week, so please ensure that children are prompt for school and have a good breakfast!
Sainsburys Active Kids vouchers – The scheme has now finished so please dig out vouchers from purses & bags so they can be counted.
FOHNS Bike & Bake : we look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday, 2-4pm – cakes and second-hand bikes to sell (labelled with name, telephone & price) can be brought from 12noon. Luke Allington from Broadribb Cycles is coming along with a few new show bikes, see https://www.broadribbcyclesbanbury.co.uk/, Brownies will be running at Table Top Sale, and FOHNS will be selling second-hand uniform – something for everyone! Free Open Day at Hook Norton Tennis Club
Try tennis for free at Hook Norton Tennis Club on Saturday 16th May, any time between 1pm and 4pm.
Everyone is welcome – adults, families and children. Tennis rackets are available. Just come and have fun!
Hook Norton Tennis Club has something for everyone, from social tennis to teams in local leagues.

Hook Norton Library: Book and Plant sale at Hook Norton Library on Saturday 16 May 9.30-12.00 noon. Donations of new or good condition books needed (drop off at the library 9th and 15th May). Donations of plants very welcome on the day.
Driving: Please take extra care driving and parking when coming to school to pick up or drop off children; there was a very near miss with a toddler last Friday.

Ascension Day Service: Parents are invited to the whole school Ascension & Pentecost Church Service on Thursday 21/5/15 at St Peter’s Church at 9.30am.

Activities/Visits: We did very well in the Partnership Athletics Tournament; our B team came 2nd, our A team 3rd and our Y6 team were the Large Schools Athletics Champions.
Out of School Achievements: Well done to Thomas and Findlay Cornelius-Hicks for their successes with Chipping Norton Rugby Club, Blake Robinson, Oscar Ward and Lukas Wahlen as part of the Under 8s winning football team who won the league and two local tournaments, Will Ingham Stow Rugby Club player of the season, Edie and Will Cooper for taking part in the Coome Fun Run, Poppy Queenan Level 5 Ice Skating, Maizy Jack 2nd in the Swalcliffe Hunter Trials, Matthew Campbell Grade 2 Piano, Lily Stanton 25m Swimming.
