We have had a lovely week finishing off our work on The Very Hungry Caterpillar and learning about different types of mini-beasts. Inside we have printed mini-beast posters, ordered mini-beasts by size and written recounts on our trip to Stratford Butterfly Farm.
Outside we have been making a mini-beast scene. We created a background, drew mini-beast pictures, practiced our scissor skills and made tissue paper flowers to finish off our scene.
Mrs Nixon and Mrs Belgrove met with MP Victoria Prentis and a representative from The British Council today to show off our amazing international work.
Phonics & Maths:
In Phonics we are working towards children’s individual targets.
In Maths we have been practicing counting to 100 including counting in tens, practicing doubling and halving numbers to 10 and writing number sentences. Can your child write an addition sentence, e.g 3 + 3 = 6?
We will be learning about The World Cup!
