We have had a very busy time. Inside we have designed pumpkin faces, made paper spiders and matched pictures to seasonal scenes.
Outside we have made hedgehog leaf collages, drawn our portraits and played games such as ‘What’s the time Mr Wolf?’
On Wednesday we had our first PE lesson in the hall with a professional coach. We had fun pretending to go on bike rides.
On Thursday we celebrated our Harvest Festival with the rest of the school. We watched Key Stage 1 act out the story of Handa’s Surprise, listened to readings by Key Stage 2, enjoyed the Harvest songs including singing our very own Oats and Beans and Barley Grow. Thank you very much for your generous donations of non-perishable food items for the Banbury Food bank.
Forest Group 1 made a Wishing Tree in the Forest. More details about our wishes are to follow.
The Learning Journey children made chocolate brownies.
Phonics & Maths:
In Phonics we have learnt our new sounds b and f. Thank you for helping your child to learn these at home.
In Maths we have been focusing on counting songs and recognising the number sentences that go with them. Can you sing a counting song with your child at home?
