This week has been out of this world! The children have thoroughly enjoyed learning about all things Space. We have played in the Space Centre role play area, made alien models, listened and made up our own space stories and made some ‘Aliens in Underpants’!
Outside children have enjoyed the lovely hot weather. We have been learning about how to stay safe in hot weather as well as doing experiments to do with floating and sinking and observing the changes to our tadpoles. We have also learnt when to water plants and flowers in this hot weather (and we may have watered some of the children too!).
Mrs Nixon enjoyed the second half of her course on inclusion in the Early Years.
Phonics is going well. We are continually assessing children to ensure that they are getting personalised provision.
This week we have been learning to add up different amounts of money. Can your child make teen numbers pence using 10 pence and 1 pence pieces?
Next week’s Learning Journeys will be Clemmie, Claudia, Emily and Mason.
