A beautiful butterfly joined us for Collective Worship this morning, causing gasps from the children. Perhaps Spring is finally on its way….
Some Year 6 children took up the optional challenge of writing a poem to commemorate the start of WW1, to be entered in the Chipping Norton Poetry Festival. The poems were beyond my expectations and were moving, powerful and beautifully written. We will be publishing a selection on the website in due course.
The joys of working in a primary school:
Year 1 child in lunch – ‘Mrs Belgrove I ‘ve got a wobbly tooth. Look I can make it go flat!’
