The Big Question
Year 1
We painted our clay teddy bear sized crockery.  We compared old and new teddy bears.  We made signs, labels, and invitations and chose toys to display for our class museum.  A big thank you to everyone who visited the museum!  We used the computers to find out about toys from the past.  We have also written an exciting story about a superhero doll called Traction Man!

Year 2
We have written a Katie Morag story set in Hook Norton, thinking about what she would find exciting about Hook Norton.  We have written non chronological reports to show what we have learnt about the different materials our school is made of.  We have worked as a group to make a presentation about one of these materials.  We completed our Katie Morag vehicles.

Year 1 and 2 will be reviewing reading levels after half term, so please make sure you have read at least 4 times each week. Children  have spellings to practise over half term.

Year 1
Please see the yellow letter in the book bag regarding half term homework.  There is no yellow book homework, but please read at home, practise the sounds in the new sound booklet and practise counting in 2s, 5s and 10s.

Have a lovely half term break!
Best wishes
