By next week the new entrance gates should be fitted to make life easier getting into the school. Please feel free to drop your children off in the mornings in the playground – there is a member on staff on duty from 8.40am. We had reports of much less congestion when children were being dropped off at the front entrance, which is good for everyone!
Please could you also remind children that they must cross on the crossing with Teash, even though the gate is now further down. It’s only a couple more steps to keep safe.
The work is continuing at a pace on the new KS2 classrooms, with the removal of walls and the roof, ready for the footings for the new rooms.
Staffing: I am delighted to welcome Miss Hollie Crooker, who will be joining us in September as the new Y3 teacher. Miss Crooker will be here for a few days at the end of this month and will be spending some time in Year 2 and Year 3 to familiarise herself with school routines.
