Parking – Scott Orchard, Chair of Governors, has requested that car drivers be mindful where they park, especially with the start of the new development. Please take care not to mount the pavement as young children could be on their way past … and watch out for our inexperienced Year 5 cyclists who begin their Cycling Proficiency training today!

School’s Budget update: As you may be aware, our budget this year is actually less than last year (by £41,000) with ever increasing costs. I wrote to our MP on behalf of the governing body to voice our deep concern about this and she in turn passed on our concerns to Nick Gibb, the minister for education. He has now requested a meeting with me to discuss the matter, which should be arranged shortly. I look forward to impressing upon him the need to review school funding urgently.
