Dear Parents

The Travelling Book Fair will be visiting school on Thursday 27 February until Monday 3 March. World Book day is March 6th.


Parents’ Evenings will be coming up after the holiday (4th and 5th March): please look out for the sheets outside each class to sign up for a slot.

Yr2 Class Assembly – Wednesday 26/2/14, 9.10 am in the hall. Parents welcome.

FOHNS Mexican Night : Saturday 1st March – Tickets on sale now, £10 per ticket.

Well Done!

This week we have said Well Done to:  Lani Tanner, Joe Clay, Elliott Miskin, Tristrian Connor, Emily Jessop, Abi Nunneley, Izzy Mair, Stan Neal, Ella Rux-Burton, Hannah Clay.

Activities:  Year 5 presented a very entertaining class assembly, Two of our parent governors, Simon Hicks and Rachael Simmonds, visited each of the classes to get ideas for our school Vision.  They were bowled over with the thoughtful suggestions from the children. Frances Bartlett from the diocese also visited this week and enjoyed her tour of the school.  She said she had such a warm welcome when she came in.

Out of School Achievements:

Sarah Jarvis for her silver medal at Four Shires Swimming Club, Ella White Grade 5 Water Skills, James Hicks 25m Swimming, Catherine Monelle Grade 4 Water Skills, Freddie Straw Silver Rookie Life-guard.
