Live Love Care Think Learn Dare

Newsletter 16 January

Dear Parents

Well done to the choir who went to ‘Young Voices’ at the LG Arena in Birmingham this week.  They joined 6000 children from other schools for an evening of song (and dance). It was declared to be the best one yet!

Head Lice:  Unfortunately they are back; there has been a case reported in Y1 so please check your child’s hair this weekend.

Activities this week include: a bracing walk around the village by Y1 and Y2 (Mrs Vint was exhausted!), Y6 Junior Citizen visit (learning about risk assessment and how to keep themselves safe in a variety of different scenarios), Young Voices, Miss Hope has been attending the Global Learning Conference at Warwick University and our KS1 teachers attended gymnastics training at Chipping Norton School. The Foundation Stage are very excited because some very large wooden spoons have arrived and gigantic scales for outside!

Well Done! This week we have said Well Done to: Emily Monelle, Katie Bachelor, Ossie Knox, Rebecca Milne, Lottie Denne, Isabel Mair, Freya Winhammar, Finlay Cornelius-Hicks, Thomas Cornelius-Hicks, Jasmin Ebony Blake, the Young Voices Choir.
