Dear Parents

Red Nose Day:

Next Friday is Red Nose Day, raising money for lots of very worthy causes.  This year we would like to have a ‘Red Tuck Shop’ for Y1-Y6. Please could the children, if possible, bring in something ‘red’ for the snack bar which we will then sell on Friday break time.  Each item will be 50p.  Suggestions include: a KitKat, strawberries, strawberry laces, home baked red cakes or cookies, tomatoes, apples….  (Nothing containing nuts please).

Children may also wear their red noses or T-shirts if they have them.

Parent Survey – please complete the online NfER survey as soon as possible at – using the school number 202340 and password HXHH – so that we can learn more about your views on different aspects of school life. It is completely confidential and anonymous.

Funding Formula – Please support the campaign opposing cuts to our funding by completing the consultation (an information sheet to help with responses is attached) before it closes on 22 March at

School Meals: The cost of a school meal will increase in the Summer term to £2.20, therefore we need all outstanding balances and payments for the last week of term to be paid by Monday 3 April before the price increase.

Extra-curricular activities : Science club has now finished, other clubs continue until w/c 27 March, apart from the Yoga club which will have a catch-up session on Thursday 6 April to make up for last week’s cancelled session.

FOHNS: The Auction of Promises has been launched!

Quiz at the Sports & Social on Friday 24 March, 7.30 for 8pm start, funds to FOHNS.

WELL DONE!  This week we have said well done to:- Connor Stratford, Isabella Nunneley, Caden Grootaert, Georgia Hewitt-Gray, Orla McArdle, Freya Winhammar, Toby Driver, Jessica Benham, Oliver Cutter, Bella Murray, Mrs Peter’s Y6 Maths group, all Y3 for their brilliant assembly.

Activities/Visits : Y1 attended the Chipping Norton Sports Partnership dance festival at Chipping Norton School and enjoyed their ‘Commotion in the Ocean’! Y3 entertained us with all the creative activities they have been doing this term in their class assembly.
Out of School Achievements : Well done to Ellie Newby 400m Swimming, David Kirk Highly Commended in the guitar at Chipping Norton Music Festival.
