Dear Parents

The building work is still on schedule and the workmen will be in all over the holiday, with a view to finishing the new Foundation Stage classroom by the end of April.

This term the Harry Bartlett Cups have been awarded to Lottie Denne and Oscar Simmonds.  Well done to both of them – they have thoroughly deserved our highest accolade.

Reminder:  Y4 will be swimming first day back, so please remember swimming kit! (This is one of two catch up sessions when the pool was out of action).

FOHNS: Thank you to everyone who gave up their time for the children’s discos. The children really enjoyed themselves!

Easter Bunny:  The winner of the giant rabbit was Luca Risato.

Bike & Bake: Sunday 24 April 2-4pm, further details after the holidays (time to dig those bikes out to sell!)
Quiz at the Sports & Social on Friday 8 April, 7.45 for 8pm start, funds to FOHNS.

Activities this week: Y1 showcased the work they have been doing this term in their class assembly to the school and parents. We learnt a lot about Aliens! Y6 children gave us a very informative assembly about their visit to Sweden.

A number of our staff attended Safe-guarding training to ensure we keep our children safe.

Mrs Crouch and I visited Charlbury School as part of our joint school improvement work.

Our Easter service in school was led by Mrs Collins with readings and prayers from the children.  All the classes made an Easter Garden. You can see them in church over the Easter period, so please do go down and have a look- they are beautiful.
