Newsletter 25 November 2016

Dear Parents

All of the KS2 classrooms now have new tables and chairs and they look very smart. Thank you to FOHNS and your contributions which have made this possible. This means we have a lot of old tables and chairs to dispose of!  If you would like any for a child’s bedroom or your allotment for example, or you know anyone who does please come and help yourself before we get rid of them.

Headlice:  They have been reported in Nursery and Y6. Please check your child’s hair and treat everyone with head lice on the same day.  If the treatment doesn’t work the first time please be persistent and/or try a different approach.

Crèche : Please sign up at the office for a place for the KS2 performances – Monday 28 November in the Study Centre, or Tuesday 29 November in the old Red Room as we have flower arranging class in the Study Centre on Tuesdays.

Owl Club: Next week we will be sending out details of our new after school club Owl Club – look out for the letter!

New Yoga Class at HN school starting after Christmas.   Tuesday evenings, 8.00-9.00pm, free taster class. Previous yoga experience necessary as this class will not be suitable for complete beginners.  Last few spaces only remaining.   Please contact Fran for further information:

Thank you for your kind donations for the Christmas Fair. Please return all raffle tickets (sold with stubs and payment, or unsold) to school by Thursday 1 December.  We would be very grateful for your donations of cakes from Thursday 1st December and we look forward to seeing you all at the Fayre on Friday 2 December from 4.30pm.

Mrs Orchard will be selling Christmas Concert tickets for the church at the Christmas Fayre.
