Dear Parents

There was a special assembly this week in remembrance of the victims of the Manchester bombing and we held a minute’s silence on Thursday.  The children all were very well informed and it has obviously touched many of them deeply as so many children and young people were caught up in the atrocity. We read out a special prayer written by Rev. John Acreman.

Staffing: We are saying ‘Good-bye’ to Mrs Robertson at the end of the summer term, who, after working at our school for twenty years, has decided to move on to pastures new. Mrs Robertson is going to be the lead teacher at the Hearing Impairment resources base in Oxford.  We will miss her music, her kindness, her creativity and her huge smile, but we wish her all the very best in her new career.

I am delighted to inform you that we have appointed a new teacher for KS2 – Miss Emma Holloway.  Miss Holloway has been teaching in London and has relocated back to the area.  She enjoys baking so we are looking forward to her starting!

Sainsburys Active Kids vouchers – the scheme is now closed and vouchers no longer issued in store – please look in your purses/wallets & bags and hand into school so they can be counted.
