Key Stage 1 Christmas Production : The Key Stage 1 performances take place next week at 2.00pm on Tuesday and 6.00pm on Wednesday (see note below) – don’t forget to make sure you have your tickets! They will also perform on Monday during the senior citizens/community tea party. Wednesday 10 December : Please bring children in via the main school entrance and send down to the classroom at 5.30pm (no earlier please). They can be collected from Reception after the performance.
Key Stage 2 Christmas Production : Performances take place on Monday 15 December, 6.00pm and Wednesday 17 December, 6.00pm. A separate letter is being sent out today with details of how to get tickets. Parents will receive two tickets (separated parents will receive two tickets each) and any spare tickets will be prioritised to Year 6.
Donations: Tickets are free, however there will be a collection at the end of each performance, with donations funding the community Christmas tea and expenses incurred for the productions.
Please can I remind you that the evening productions are for adults and siblings at other schools only – a crèche is provided (sign up at the office) by staff volunteers for other Hook Norton School siblings (who will have seen the production in school) and pre-school children.
PARKING: The school playground may be used for parking for the evening performances – however, please avoid driveways if parking on Sibford Road. Thank you.
FOHNS Christmas Fayre : A huge ‘Thank-you’ to everyone involved, from those who helped organise, set up, man a stall, gave donations and cleared away afterwards. The final amount raised has not been added up yet, but it was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

Cycle to School safely: thank you to the cycle team for their demonstration on safety in assembly last week.
CLUBS: Next week will be the last of all the clubs – apart from JAM club and Wind Band which have already finished, and the Tuesday morning recorders which will still run up to the last week. Catch up sessions for Drama, Art, Wind Band and Gym sessions missed will take place in the New Year.
RECORDERS: Remember to bring in recorders for playing on Monday.

Activities/Visits: Children helped me decorate the Christmas tree in the hall, kindly donated by the Wollerton family. Mrs Wood’s recorder group played at the Monday Club at the Baptist Hall, Year1 and Year2 enjoyed a puppet show about healthy eating, Pete Watkins Guitar Group entertained the school and parents in assembly. Well done to Mrs Robertson’s Woodwind Group who played beautifully for friends and parents. Mrs Crouch took a group of Year 5 children to learn how to blog at Chipping Norton School.
