Nursery News 15 December 2017

Here are some of the things we have been busy doing this week:

  • Having fun in the snow, describing how it looks and feels, using the diggers and trucks to clear it and observing it melt.
  • Ordering Russian doll Santas by size.
  • Decorating our salt dough tree decorations.
  • Hunting for our Elf who is not always on a shelf.
  • Angel collages using 2D shapes.
  • Enjoying listening to Christmas stories.
  • Using coloured filter paper to create our own stained glass windows after visiting St Peter’s Church last week.
  • Helping the new children who visited us.
  • Attending the whole school Christmas Service in school

Next Week:     

If wearing boots to school please remember to bring shoes to wear inside.

 Monday 18th December School Christmas Lunch, those who stay all day may wear a festive hat.

Tuesday 19th December We shall be watching a Christmas film and having some snacks. Donations of crisps, biscuits or cakes would be welcome, please bring to school on Monday so that we can set up Monday night. Thank you Children may wear non-school uniform (Christmas jumpers?).

For those who stay all day on a Tuesday please note that school finishes at 1.30pm.

Nursery Children return to school on Monday 8th January.

Christmas Eve Crib Service 5pm St Peter’s Church  A lovely Service for the children, if you can make it. There is also a Service of Celebration on Christmas day at 10am all are welcome.
