We have had a more relaxed week in the warm weather. On Wednesday we watched the whole-school Sports day on the field. Mrs Wright covered for Miss Persaud in the morning.
Miss Mayall, our new Reception teacher came to visit on Monday and Thursday afternoon to get to know the children joining the Reception class in September.
Inside and outside we have been washing the toys and resources ready for the holidays. We have also been drawing and colouring summer pictures, experimenting with colour mixing and doing dot to dot number pictures.

In Phonics we are working towards children’s individual targets.
In Maths we have been ordering numbers forwards and backwards to 20. What number can your child count up to by rote?
