This week we have had a lovely week doing activities around the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We have made stick puppets to help us act out the story, painted the characters and found out where different types of bears come from in the world. We have also made Pudsey bear biscuits to raise awareness about Children In Need day.
Outside we have been exploring different textures in our small world play with a spaghetti swamp and alien goo!
Phonics & Maths:
In Phonics we have been practicing writing our sounds and learning how to use magnet boards to make words.
In Maths we have been learning to recognise and name common 2d shapes, say the days of the week in order and know some of the months of the year. Does your child know what month their birthday is in? Can your child name common 2d shapes?
We are continuing our activities on Goldilocks and the Three Bears.
