Live Love Care Think Learn Dare

Reception Times 23 February 2018

We have kicked off the new term with our Book Week focussing on Owl Babies, which has been wonderful. Inside we have been making nests for owls, creating owl collages, ordering the life cycle of an owl and writing about the story. We have also listened to lots of different stories with owls as main characters and thought about the difference between a fiction and non-fiction book. Mrs Wright brought in her stuffed owl which we have really enjoyed looking at and feeling.

Outside we have been making clay owls, making up puppet shows about the story Owl Babies and playing with Woodland Creatures.

In Cookery this week we have made owl biscuits.

Miss Persaud has been on an RE course focussed on showcasing our C of E status as part of her role as RE co-ordinator.
